1 year old battling SMA

Name: Kennedy Osmulski Prayer Request: This is a 1 year old little girl who is suffering from SMA, spinal muscle atrophy. 3 weeks ago she had to be air lifted to UVA . She was diagnosed with pneumonia, due to her condition she is not able to fight infection. She was placed on oxygen, another machine to help force air into her lungs, IV’s, and feeding tube. Praise The Lord she is getting better, from the pneumonia, but her SMA won’t get better. Her neck muscles have already began to deteriorate and she can’t hold her head up, or swallow without aspirating. She may get to come home this week, but she will come home with 6 pieces of medical equipment and she will need a custom made car seat and stroller. All this is costly .
