My young adult son with Downs, Jon, has had a sudden, serious medical situation which keeps us at home. We are traveling from Boston to Los Angeles to see a specialist Sept 23-28 and would SO appreciate your prayers—that the Dr would have wisdom and be able to help; that Jon would be able to travel. 2 caregivers will be traveling with us. Thank you. I am praying for the love of my life. His name is Dan E and he is loved by all. He is a young 59 but has debilitating conditions which keeps him from participating in life and enjoying life. He can lo longer drive, can barely walk due to balance issues, he cannot use his hands to open drinks, ketchup packets, many things that are easy for us. He does have CHF, diabetes, afib but most are in control. He is getting ready for an invasive spinal surgery on 9/30/24 at uva and we would be so blessed to have people keeping us in their prayers. We are pretty new to Thomas road but my family goes way back with Jerry Sr and Macel. Please say a prayer for him to make it through the surgery, to be healed, pain free and able to enjoy what time he may have left on this earth. Please pray for all in need for healing, health and what they need. Hoping our world becomes much closer to God because with God on our side we are strong. Please pray for my mother, Ruth. We were at the hospital today and they found a mass that the believe may be cancer Prayers for a successful interview and a job offer next week. Praise for some positive results from my job search Special prayers for my sister to be healed and for a miracle for my family. Please pray for my step-son, Patrick (27). He told his brother a few days ago that he has been considering suicide and has even gone so far as to try and find his mother's guns. My husband's former brother-in-law killed himself and it has always been his biggest fear for Patrick. My husband is beside himself with worry back in Philadelphia getting the house ready to be put on the market. I am in Lynchburg, Virginia and can do little to either help Patrick or be there for my husband. I would be immeasurably grateful if you could help me surround Patrick with prayer and God's intervention. Pray for the Mullins, McNabb, and Amason families. They’re all related to Pastor Bobby Mullins and his wife Wanda who were killed in a car accident in Memphis, TN. Joey Amason is a friend and Liberty Alumni. The victims were his in-laws. Please pray for help and wisdom in our financial situation and health issues. Please pray that my husband and adult son both accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, I have been praying for this for years. And please pray for me, I’ve been struggling with my faith at times, wondering if I have truly repented completely. I fall short of walking in Christ everyday. My husband does not believe in Christ. So it does create conflicts between us, Please pray that God will give me wisdom, strength, and self control when anger and bitterness comes into my heart.
