You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. I am asking for guidance, wisdom, patience, and peace. You know my heart, my intentions, and how hard I try to do my job well. You see the things I do that others may not notice, the effort I put in, and the responsibilities I carry each day.
Lord, I am struggling. Sometimes I feel like I am doing my best, but my best is not being seen or appreciated. I feel like no matter how much I do; there is always something more expected of me. When I feel like I am being watched too closely or treated as though I cannot handle my responsibilities without constant supervision, it leaves me frustrated, discouraged, and anxious.
Father, I ask You to help me handle these feelings in a healthy way. Please help me not to take every criticism personally or allow someone else's expectations to determine how I see myself. Remind me that my worth is not measured by how much I accomplish in a day or by whether someone recognizes every effort I make.
Please give me wisdom to understand what I may need to improve and the confidence to stand firm in the things I know I am doing well. If there are areas where I need to grow, help me accept that guidance with an open heart. But if I am allowing fear, pressure, or someone else's expectations to steal my peace, help me recognize that, too.
Lord, please guide my relationship with my boss. Soften both of our hearts where needed. Help us communicate with understanding, respect, and patience. Help me express my concerns professionally without letting frustration take over. Give my boss the ability to see my efforts, trust my abilities, and recognize the person I am trying to become.
God, I especially ask You to help me overcome my anxiety. I don't want to spend my days worrying about what I might have done wrong, what more will be expected of me, or whether I am doing enough. I want to walk into work with a peaceful mind, a confident spirit, and a heart that is not weighed down by stress.
Please help me find joy in my job again. Remind me of the reasons I started, the skills You have given me, and the good I am capable of doing. Help me focus on what I can control and release what I cannot. Teach me to do my work with excellence without feeling that I have to prove myself every single moment.
And Father, if this job is where You want me to be, please give me the strength, patience, and peace to continue growing here. If You are preparing me for something different, open the right doors in Your timing and give me the courage to walk through them. Please don't let fear keep me somewhere I am no longer meant to be, but don't let a difficult season push me away from something that still has purpose for me. Can I ask you all to please pray for my family? We just had my grandfather complete his home-going last night. I am now out of grandparents, at least here on Earth. Please pray for my healing. I am to have an EU followed by a possible ERCP on oct 29th at uva with a gallbladder removal in abt 3 Mos. Right now everyday I am living with a life threatening situation if I develop symptoms I have to get to an er. Today I have been nauseous with some tenderness and pain but not enough to warrant an er visit. Please pray I can make it to that life saving operation on 10 29. Also that there will not be any infection, complications, or anything that goes wrong during and after the procedure. After talking with the gastroenterologist at uva yesterday it is beginning to look like i was misdiagnosed in august 2001 for pulled muscles and i have been living with pain and sickness all these years. Im thankful and grateful god is giving me a 2nd chance. Right now every day is scary for me but I know if I can get to oct 29th, the gastroenterologist can get me stabilized until the gallbladder surgery and that would be a blessing. Thank you. She is one of the strongest women I know and it is very hard to see her like this. Please pray for the doctors and nurses as they care for her. Please pray and give us the strength and knowledge that we need to care for her and get her through this. Please thank everyone for praying for me two weeks ago.
