My wife and I are expecting a baby boy this Oct. We've just found out our son has spina bifida. We're not sure how badly our son will be affected, when he is born, specialists and tests still need to be seen/done. This is our first child and both of us are very heartbroken for his sake. Please keep us in your prayers. Please pray that our family, stays in God’s light in a world full of darkness. That we are prepared to do good works, we ask the Lord to strengthen us in our daily lives. And though we all sin and fall short, that through our Lord Jesus we continue our path to our Heavenly Father. Please pray for our family as a whole, for healing, perseverance and most of all Love. My husband and I have been married for almost 26 years. 17 years of our marriage he was an alcoholic. He went to treatment and didn’t drink anymore until October of last year. He has promised he will stop drinking but I know he can’t do it on his own which he says he can. He lies about his drinking and says that he is not drinking. The family knows when he is drinking but he will not admit it. He is definitely in denial. We have a Christian-based 12 step recovery program at our church and he has a sponsor. The last three times he has gone to the recovery program, he has been drinking. He has yet to call his sponsor. I Can’t live like this anymore after living that life any more as I lived it for 17 years. He will lose his two children and four grandchildren if he doesn’t stop drinking now! My heart is broken over this and I continue to call out to Papa God about the situation and for him to intervene in this situation. Our family needs prayer as it is tearing us apart. My mom is in a rehab facility to get better for a wound that she has where she had a bad infection this may. It’s also been a year since my father died so it’s been really hard on me. I don’t drive and am handling everything at the house and also taking care of my 15 year old daughter who has special needs. It’s lonely and hard on me finding any help. I also am trying to get back right in my relationship with God I’ve been distant for some time. Kelly
