I am a new believer. I am still tormented by addiction and the feeling of inadequacy in everything I do. This pushes me to try to do everything with perfection which rarely works, it then causes me to relapse back into addiction. I want this gone. I am a child of God and I no longer want to serve the addiction. I hear people pray for this and it completely rid them of any desire to feel the need for their drug of choice. It's all I've ever known. I have an amazing boyfriend who is losing his patience but is still sticking in there with me. He is not an unbeliever but doesn't attend church. I've about got him talked into attending with me which I think would help everything. We need help and prayer over our lives. Something has to give soon I can't take much more.
