We got a call yesterday that he is in Respiratory Failure. He lives in NC so it’s hard right now on my family. . I started my dream job 08/01. (Working from home, making 23 an hour). We have 9 weeks of mandatory training time. You cannot miss 8+ hours of unprotected time during training or you get terminated, which they did tell us upfront. So i get it. However, I missed 1 day of work because my daughter was in the hospital. I followed the callout procedures etc. Well they wait until today to call me amd say that unless I get this absense protected, ill be terminated, because it was 8 hours. (Now i work for an insurance angency that does fmla, STD claims, etc for employers) so i asked how to get it protected, and she told me to call our own company (but a special department for employees) and file a leave claim for that day. So i did. However, federal FMLA, as well as state FMLA has the requirement that you must be employed for 12 months to be eligible. Which obviously im not. Our corporate policy also requires 12 months. So i reached out to my boss again and was like *can you just be straight up with me, am I wasting my time? Am I gunna be terminated? I want to know so i can start applying to other jobs" and her response was "i cant answer that, its up the our claims team to see what youre eligible for, but if it comes to it, in the past we gave people the option to resign, this way you are eligible for rehire, and can reapply" which, id have to restart training, wait 3 months for next training class, etc. So, im PRAYING something comes thru with my company and i can somehow get that day protected. Ive been stressing and crying all day now I SHOULD here back about being approved or not by next Tuesday. Please pray for my sister Wanda and Kevin. They both have COVID. We're waiting on exray results to see if Wanda has pneumonia. Kevin has a pacemaker. Pray for healing.️️ Please pray for my daughter Sarah. She is in UVA hospital having complications with colon. Praying they will be able to stop the bleeding and heal her stoma where her coloscopy bag is and she will be able to come home tomorrow. She is at the hospital a lot with complications. Pray for her new medication to work for Crohn's Disease. I need emotional, physical, spiritual healing for my Complex PTSD from childhood abuse and neglect that continues to effect me today. I also have depression and anxiety. I feel unworthy to attend church even though I am a believer and love God my Father in Heaven. Please also pray for God to bring relational healing to my entire family, especially for my children, brother and sister. Anonymous
