Job and financial security I keep having arterial fibrillation episodes, a condition of the heart that causes the heart to beat out of sync, and causes the heart rate to sometimes beat fast and then slow and back to rapid beats. It also causes a higher chance to have a stroke or heart attack, and is causing me and my family great anxiety. So my prayer request is that my heart condition be completely healed, and for my family and me to be at peace with this. Thank you in advance! God bless ️ Please pray for Lisa R. I have had the honor of pastoring this small country church for a year now after serving as the youth pastor there for 6 years. This church has been a tool for Gods work in the community for 140 years. I love HCC and each and every person there. There is so much potential in the church for growth and ministering opportunities and it’s my prayer, and my prayer request from you all, that everyone else realizes that same potential and does their parts in building of God’s Kingdom through our ministry. Forgiveness for sins and a good day at work My son Byron called me today and he had chest pains at work and they called paramedics and they wanted him to go to ER to get checked out. He is only 18 and currently in NC going to UTI NASCAR SCHOOL and working part time. As a mom in VA it's tough with him being away. So please pray God will work all things out for him. I know God is with him. I just believe in prayer. Thank you so much. I have an update and request continued prayer. Last night, the federal judge in Lynchburg ordered the city to respond by close of business tomorrow as to why he should not grant our injunction that prevents them from terminating me. This is really a big deal, because we were able to prove how the fire department did a biased investigation and actually made up false claims out of thin air.
What I’m asking for is simple - I’m asking that you pray for the truth to set all of us free in this situation and for city employees to be able to freely express their convictions from their deeply held religious beliefs without fear of retaliation from local government. I’m also asking for you to pray for the judge to have compassion for the situation I am in and grant the injunction we are asking for.
Thank you so much for all the prayers. It was such a blessing to see dozens of people prayed while I was in my meeting yesterday and I was overcome by level of peace and clarity only God can provide. I need prayer because I got my first performance evaluation at my new job, and it didn’t go very well. I went into it pretty confident, and now I am discouraged. I am scared of losing my job that I love. I really want to be successful and do a good job. Please pray that God gives me the necessary tools to succeed, and pray that He calms my anxieties about it. Thank you! My Pastor Jr. Westmoreland has tumor in cheek. May not be cancer. Biopsies taken. Jaw looks worse. Possible surgery to remove bone and tumor soon. Also has not had any taste for the past 4 months and has been losing weight. He has had cancer before and had it removed so please please pray for God's intervention on this.
