My sister Heather Norman Parker of Portland Tennessee, husband passed away unexpectedly yesterday Sat Mar 6th 2021 Please pray for My wife Sue Smith she has back trouble pray for Pete C he had back surgery yesterday he was cut in 3places and he is in a lot of pain please pray for Jean T My mother is in the hospital with a severe infection in her foot. She is facing a possible amputation. She is a diabetic and on dialysis. Pray for the doctors for wisdom and for my mom to have peace of mind and Gods comfort in whatever decision is to be made. Job and financial security. Wisdom and peace for a situation at work. Prayers for two family members that are very sick. My father fell on his 93rd birthday. He fractured his right femur and had it surgically repaired. He is currently in a rehabilitation facility facing a long painful recovery. I’ve prayed for my Dad’s salvation for many years. He is a good man and a wonderful father. Please pray for a speedy recovery and most of all his salvation. That his eyes would be opened and his heart softened. Thank you for your prayers. We have put in other prayer requests here for Steven, our son & brother We are asking for God to divinely and immediately intercede in bringing to pass an unhealthy relationship he is in with a girl, so that he can set sail running the straight course God has for his life!!! That God would remove this yoke of bondage from him; there see several chains of family bondage that we are so clearly seeing In this relationship. Because he is at LU, the relationship is for now long distance, however his entire family sees clearly how it is even still negatively affecting him; while to others he seems fine, and this is due to him believing it is, his personality, and his mind having an innocence even though he is intelligent (praying here that God fills him with His knowledge and wisdom).
He transferred to LU Resident this Spring as a Junior from LUO and is studying Religion- Apologetics. He told us he applied for CGL for Fall 2021-praise and prayers here!
We are are also asking for prayer that God would, this summer, somehow move in getting him to a mission trip or some sort of divinity-internship, outreach, ministry—we know that because he has his mind set on going to FL in the summer for 1-2 weeks, he won’t reach out to inquire of any such possibilities; even though his family has voiced their support should he have the opportunity to do so. So we know the only way is by God mightily moving in someone to invite him and seriously encouraging him. My son had emergency surgery overnight to remove his colon as a result of ulcerative colitis that had created a perforation. He also has a blood clot in each lung that we are praying will be gone before they check them today. His wife is there with him and they are expecting a son in June. Please pray for healing and a speedy recovery. This is an update on a couple I have requested prayer for previously. Their names are Jeff and Tammy. Tammy is home recovering. But Jeff is still on a ventilator and the doctors have now given him a 30% survival rate. They have two of their three children still at home. Please continue to pray for them. Thank you. Prayer for my family as we transition into yet another change in our lives. The Lord knows our needs and I ask for prayer for guidance and direction and that things will fall into place when the time is right. David Norman
