Friends had a full term baby girl, Sloane, during birth her heart rate fell. After emergency C-section she was rushed to toward county center and put her on a ventilator. She has been on that since Feb 5. Her kidneys are working and she is showing little signs of response. Today she was being baptized and she grabbed the pastor’s finger and held on. Truly a miracle. Am asking prayers for baby Sloane and her family. She has 3 other young siblings and it stressful on them and the parents. A very stressful time indeed. Baby Sloane has a long way to go. She can’t have an MRI yet to access her neurologically due to the ventilator. Thank you so much for prayers for Baby Sloane and her family. The parents are Christians - said God is testing their faith but they are still believing and hopeful.

Life just continues to escalate out of control at times. Liberty and Thomas Road have been in my life since 2003. Over the years with the help of Rev. Falwell and Dr. Townes, I have weathered a lot of storms including the loss of parents and siblings. Now COVID, relationship challenges, stressors at work going 24/7 (essential worker) and of course the ever looming assignments in my classes. Lets not forget the worst snow storm in decades. I'm just loosing it. Wow don't know how its all going to culminate. I'm tough but I can't do it alone.

This isn't a prayer request but a pra ih se report. I want t on thank you all for the prayers for my brother-in-law Tim. He is home and doing great now. Thank you God for answering prayers, and thanks everybody for praying for him.

We put in an anonymous prayer request earlier this month, Feb. 4, for our son who is in a unhealthy relationship with a girl. I was led by God into 40 days of fasting and praying, and now my husband has been led into fasting and praying alongside me for the last 14 days for our son who we and his siblings all see is in a spiritually, emotionally, and mentally unhealthy relationship and yet to everyone else everything looks good on the outside. (Please reference anonymous prayer for our son here from Feb.4 for more details).

He just informed us he wants to come to FL for the summer to see her; meanwhile, God in November led us to begin the process of selling our home in FL and moving to Lynchburg area which we had been praying about since 2019.

We are praying that God divinely and immediately intercede in our son’s life somehow miraculously and very swiftly ending this relationship. He transferred to LU Residential this Spring and is studying Religion as his first area of study and chose more Religion classes for his free electives! Praising God here! We are also praying that God divinely moves and reveals to at least one student, RD, RS, CGL, or Divinty Professor the truth as to what is going on with our son (he’s not a talker when it comes to personal matters). He’s more of a loner unless someone approaches or invites him and unfortunately doesn’t reciprocate. He has no roommate. He literally has no real solid “brotherly” relationships that he “does life with” that he is able to have real life conversations with to bounce personal things off to get real Biblical input from and hold him /each other accountable.

We are praying also that God would somehow get him into some type of volunteer ministry internship in VA for the summer!
