After being hospitalized with PPROM at 24 weeks . I was about to start my 4th week and was celebrating my bday watching a movie last night in hospital with Hubby.

I was 27 weeks pregnant and turned 27 November 24th

Hubby and I were having a great night we were watching a movie. Around 1230am I went to the restroom to pee . Felt something coming out and it felt like a clot . I got up to look in mirror and my cord had prolapsed. I could see it hanging out of my lady parts . I then ran to my bed and called nurse crying and panicking . And told PJ to step aside something was wrong . When my nurse got in I showed her my cord she immediately called doc and nurses. They wanted to give me magnesium and steroids but they didn’t have time everything was happening so fast . The doctor stuck her hand in me and pushed baby’s back up so the umbilical cord wasn’t compressed . (She kept it there until baby arrived) I was then rushed to OR for surgery I mean they were all running like 10 nurses and 3 doctors . I’m crying and freaking out and scared. They cut off my clothes take off my jewelry literally throw stuff all over my body to clean me . Give me anesthesia. I woke up in recovery Xander was born at 1:02 am , his weight was 2 pounds and 4 oz . Once I get to my new room the OB runs in to tell me baby won’t make it . I’m crying and freak ing out and by this point traumatized. They then say they will give a near by children’s hospital a chance and would be transporting my son there .I go touch and talk to him before he is transported. Hubby is so distraught from it all he is vomiting and scared . So now we wait . The children’s hospital called and said he is stabilized and doing so much better . I’m praying and thank you for all those good vibes and prayers. Long Nicu road ahead and praying for healing.️ .

My prayers are for everyone.. I pray that the Good Lord will keep us safe and bless those who are less fortunate and help those who need it most.. I also pray that He will give me strength to treat everyone with love, kindness, and respect.. And that the Good Lord will forgive me of all my sins .. Amen..
