Recounting God’s deeds led to recognition of His attributes and was followed by a challenge to seek Him and depend on Him. God’s people remembered His faithfulness throughout their history. God was acknowledged as Creator and sovereign over everything created. There’s a glimpse of the future when nature rejoices as the Lord reigns on earth. David gave a brief petition for the people and closed with praise. Then he and the people went home as the priests took up their daily duties.
