Key Verse: II Corinthians 7:6a
“Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us…”

There’s something that every person needs regardless of their personality, job position, or where they live in the world. Everybody needs “encouragement.” Encouragement can come in many forms but when effectively delivered To a person in need, we reflect a very character of God. Second Corinthians 7:5-7 teaches us how even strong leaders need encouragement and how we can best encourage people in need. And in doing so, we reflect the very character of God.
If you are in need of encouragement today, please take time to listen to these beautiful truths found in Second Corinthians chapter 7!

II Corinthians 7:5-7

Outside were conflicts, inside were fears.6 Nevertheless God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, 7 and not only by his coming, but also by the consolation with which he was comforted in you, when he told us of your earnest desire, your mourning, your zeal for me, so that I rejoiced even more.

23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
