2016 Week 13 – Matthew 28:5-6

Welcome to our 13th week of memorizing scripture together in 2016 – Our primary source for memorization is the NKJV. Others are presented to give breath and depth to the passages.

This week is – Matthew 28:5-6

NKJV – “But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. ⁶He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay“

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you this verse. Read the verse out loud 5 times a day, by yourself, with your family, with your Life Group

NIV – “The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay”

NLT – “Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying”

Spanish – “El ángel dijo a las mujeres: —No tengan miedo; sé que ustedes buscan a Jesús, el que fue crucificado.  No está aquí, pues ha resucitado, tal como dijo. Vengan a ver el lugar donde lo pusieron”

Korean – “ 천 사 가 여 자 들 에 게 일 러 가 로 되 ` 너 희 는 무 서 워 말 라 ! 십 자 가 에 못 박 히 신 예 수 를 너 희 가 찾 는 줄 을 내 가 아 노 라

Russian – “Ангел сказал женщинам:– Не бойтесь, я знаю, что вы ищете распятого Иисуса.  Его здесь нет, Он воскрес, как и говорил ранее. Подойдите и посмотрите на место, где Он лежал”
