This week is – 3 John 3-4
3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you this verse. Read the verse out loud 5 times a day, by yourself, with your family, with your Life Group.
NIV – It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
NLT – Some of the traveling teachers recently returned and made me very happy by telling me about your faithfulness and that you are living according to the truth. I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth.
Spanish – Mucho me regocijé cuando vinieron los hermanos y dieron testimonio de tu verdad, de cómo andas en la verdad. No tengo yo mayor gozo que oír que mis hijos andan en la verdad.
Korean – 나는 성도들로부터 그대가 진리대로 살고 있다는 소식을 듣고 무척 기뻤습니다. 나에게는 내 자녀들이 진리 안에서 생활한다는 소식을 듣는 것보다 더 기쁜 일이 없습니다.
Russian – Ибо я весьма обрадовался, когда пришли братия и засвидетельствовали о твоей верности, как ты ходишь в истине. Для меня нет большей радости, как слышать, что дети мои ходят в истине.
