2017 Week 49 – Genesis 22:14

Welcome to our 49th week of memorizing scripture together in 2017 – Our primary source for memorization is the NKJV.

This week is – Genesis 22:14

And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”

 

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you this verse. Read the verse out loud 5 times a day, by yourself, with your family, with your Life Group.

NIV –So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

NLT – Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the LORD will provide”). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”

Spanish –Y llamó Abraham a aquel lugar «Jehová proveerá.» Por tanto se dice hoy: «En el monte de Jehová será provisto.»

Korean –아브라함이 그 곳 이름을 ^[a]‘여호와 – 이레’ 라고 불렀으므로 오늘날까지도 사람들이 ‘여호와의 산에서 준비될 것이다’ 라는 말을 하고 있다.

Russian –И нарек Авраам имя месту тому: Иегова-ире. Посему [и] ныне говорится: на горе Иеговы усмотрится.
