Week 3 – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Welcome to our 3rd week of memorizing scripture together – Our primary source for memorization is the NKJV. Others are presented to give breath and depth to the passages.

This week is – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

NKJV – “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you this verse. Read the verse out loud 5 times a day, by yourself, with your family, with your Life Group

NIV – “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

NLT – “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.”

Spanish – “¿Acaso no saben que su cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, quien está en ustedes y al que han recibido de parte de Dios? Ustedes no son sus propios dueños; fueron comprados por un precio. Por tanto, honren con su cuerpo a Dios.”

Korean – “너 희 몸 은 너 희 가 하 나 님 께 로 부 터 받 은 바 너 희 가 운 데 계 신 성 령 의 전 인 줄 을 알 지 못 하 느 냐 너 희 는 너 희 의 것 이 아 니 라
