Week of November 11, 2018 – Acts 20:35

Welcome to our 45th week of memorizing scripture together in 2018 – Our primary source for memorization is the NKJV.

Acts 20:35

I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you this verse. Read the verse out loud 5 times a day, by yourself, with your family, with your Life Group.

NIV – In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

NLT – And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
