    1. 2 Cor 3:5-6
  2. Most Christians have a wrong view of trouble
    1. Being a Christian doesn’t guarantee deliverance from trouble, rather deliverance in trouble
    2. You don’t determine a man’s greatness by his wealth or status as the world does, but rather by what it takes to discourage him
  3. Trouble is a basic need for spiritual growth
    1. God doesn’t give us an overcoming life, he gives us life as we overcome
    2. God will give you the strength
  4. God’s grace is not available for tomorrow, it is for today
    1. 2 Cor 12 – in our weakness we are made strong by his great strength
    2. He gives strength for the moment
  5. God’s ultimate high is only revealed in life’s greatest crisis
  6. You will never get out of trouble
    1. Learn how to live while you’re in trouble
    2. God promises to never leave us nor forsake us
  7. You are not the only one who suffers
    1. 1 Cor. 10:13 – God is faithful
    2. He will never take us past what we are able to bear
  8. Trouble is not always judgment
    1. Hebrews 12:6
    2. Your trouble comes from God. He either allows it or sends it.
    3. Job 13:16 – Yet will I trust Him
  9. Bear your own burdens
    1. God may send someone to help, but we must trust God alone
    2. God will give you everything you need
  10. False optimism are detrimental
    1. Get alone with God in prayer
    2. The world needs pillars of strength
  11. When we complain, our problem is really a heart problem
    1. Pray about your problem
    2. Pray for others, don’t gossip or complain
  12. Satan uses a lot of things to discourage us
    1. Lack of prayer
    2. Physical fatigue
    3. Unconfessed Sin
    4. Failure
    5. Routine
    6. Betrayal and Bitterness
    7. Selfishness
  13. No matter what today holds; never, never quit!
